I’m glad to hear that. Brian’s classes really are wonderful. He is a great teacher and a very nice person too. And a day in Metropolitan Museum with a pencil in your hands is an unforgettable experience.

And yes, I’m still sketching and drawing. And I’d loved to see your sketches if possible.

Literature is not meant to be taken literally We know you are right and this is not really an eagle, but you have to agree that the last picture practically demanded a comment like the one we put here.

I hate to burst your bubble, and your comments are great, but the birds you photographed are Osprey. Very impressive birds themselves…Fantastic fishers…big like an eagle…and a very common mistake because of the white head. Notice the streak of black across the eye. They have very long wings, but they always fly with a kink in them.

Great photos and what a wonderful opportunity!!

Thanks for the comment, Lauren. I’m going to show those scans as soon as possible. Have you attended this class before, or maybe going to? There’s a one-day sketching class scheduled for May 12 at Metropolitan museum that I’m thinking I might enroll in.
